I’m a Design & Manufacturing Engineer with a First-Class BSc in Product Design from Cardiff Metropolitan University. My experience combines CAD development, technical drawing production, product development and manufacturing operations across the steel fabrication and sports equipment industries.

 

I currently work within a steel fabrication environment where I am responsible for CAD development, manufacturing drawings, C02 laser cutting operations, NC programming and production workflow improvement. This hands-on experience has allowed me to develop a strong understanding of design for manufacture, sheet metal fabrication and the realities of taking products from concept through to production.

 

Alongside my manufacturing experience, I have worked on commercial product development projects including sports infrastructure systems, product visualisation, technical documentation and prototype development. My work has been used to support customer quotations, manufacturing processes and product development activities.

 

I enjoy solving practical engineering problems and creating products that are both visually refined and efficient to manufacture. My goal is to continue developing as a Design & Manufacturing Engineer, combining product design thinking with real-world manufacturing knowledge to create better products and processes.
